Refund/Return Policy

At DesertDori, every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted with care and attention to detail. We value our customers and aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Returns (Domestic – India)

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • The product received is damaged or defective, or

  • The wrong product has been delivered

Return conditions:

  • Return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

  • Product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Original tags, packaging, and invoice must be intact

Once approved, return instructions will be shared with you.

2. International Returns

Due to high international shipping and customs costs:

  • International orders are non-returnable and non-refundable,
    unless the product is received damaged or incorrect.

If a return is approved:

  • Return shipping cost will be borne by the customer

  • Customs duties, VAT, and taxes are non-refundable

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Custom-made or made-to-order products

  • Products damaged due to misuse, wear & tear, or improper handling

  • Requests raised after the allowed return timeframe

4. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share clear photos/videos of:

    • The product

    • Outer packaging

    • Shipping label

After verification, we may offer:

  • Replacement, or

  • Store credit, or

  • Refund (as applicable)

5. Refunds (If Approved)

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • Refund processing time: 7–10 business days (depending on bank/payment provider)

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the issue is from our side

6. Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability

  • Exchange shipping costs may apply

  • International exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement or before dispatch

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled

8. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

  • Any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility

  • DesertDori is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance

9. Handmade Product Disclaimer

All DesertDori products are handcrafted.
Minor variations in color, weave, or texture are natural and not considered defects.
